RSPCA Cornwall Branch is run as an independent charity under the umbrella of the National RSPCA, so we rely on local fundraising, sponsors and donations to maintain our finances.
Much of this fundraising is suspended at the moment due to virus restrictions, so this is going to be a very unusual and challenging year for everyone. Many charities will struggle with the lack of support when everyone naturally has their own financial concerns and other worries to contend with. We very much appreciate any support you can give us.
There are many ways you can support the work of RSPCA Cornwall Branch. Please see some of the options below:
A donation to RSPCA Cornwall Branch can be made by ‘phone (credit and debit cards accepted) or by post (cheques payable to RSPCA Cornwall Branch please). If you would like a make a regular payment, direct from your Bank, we can provide a Standing Order form to set this up.
If you are a UK Taxpayer, you can increase your donation by 25 pence for every £1 you give by completing a Gift Aid declaration. Please ask for a form to be provided at the time you make your donation.
If you would prefer to make a secure donation online, please use our Justgiving page (click on logo). It is also possible to set up a specific fundraising page via Justgiving if you are doing a sponsored event or a birthday appeal in lieu of presents, to raise money for the Branch. If you do set up such a page, please let us know so we can help by publicising this for you.
Or you can also make secure online donations via our Facebook page
By becoming a Friend of the Branch you can make a regular contribution (minimum of £10/annum). This can either be paid annually by cheque, or you can set up a Standing Order. If you would like to apply to become a “Friend”, forms are available from the Admin Officer at the Venton Centre address, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also Gift Aid any friend’s membership you make if you are a UK tax payer. This allows the Branch to claim 25p per £1 you give us from HMRC. You will need to indicate your wish to Gift Aid your donation by ticking the relevant box when completing the form.
If you would consider leaving something to us in your Will, all Legacies to the Branch need to be specifically worded in order to ensure RSPCA Cornwall receive the money locally.
A legacy or bequest will provide crucial funds to enable the Venton Centre to continue to offer our rehoming service to hundreds of abandoned, unwanted and mistreated animals every year. Please see our separate page here if you would like to consider leaving a legacy to the Branch.
