PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED ACCEPTING ANY DONATIONS AT THE VENTON CENTRE OR CHARITY SHOPS IN THE WAKE OF THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS. WHEN THIS RESTRICTION IS LIFTED WE WILL UPDATE HERE.
The Branch is happy to receive good quality second hand items which we can sell in our Charity Shops (see RSPCA Shops page), or pet related items which can be sold in our Pet Shop at the Centre.
However, did you know there are a number of other things the Centre can make use of on our “Wish List” below
Blankets, towels and sheets – we cannot accept duvets, pillows or sleeping bags as they are hard to clean and can be ripped and chewed, but duvet covers are welcome.
Pet food – dog, cat, rabbit or bird food, unopened please.
Straw and Hay for small animal bedding. Newspapers are also handy.
Balls and toys which we can use to enrich the animals playtime whilst they are at the Centre.
Screws, nails, hand tools, timber and building materials – our Maintenance team are always keen to receive any unwanted DIY supplies.
Paddling pools, preferably the rigid type as inflatables can get punctured.
Plants, seeds and seedlings, plug plants and herbs – Maintenance take great pride in our grounds and donated plants are always welcome. We are also currently looking for items to enhance our Sensory Garden Project – please see the Branch News page for more information.
If you have any items not specified on the list above, which you think may be useful to the Centre, please give our Reception a call.
